National School Lunch Program Information
We are pleased to inform you that South Hills Catholic Academy will be implementing a new provision known as the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) in the 2024-2025 school year. This program is available to schools and districts that are participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.
All enrolled students of South Hills Catholic Academy are eligible to receive a nutritional breakfast and lunch each school day at no charge to your household.
No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without paying a fee or submitting an application.
USDA NONDISCRIMINATION STATEMENT AND COMPLAINT PROCEDURE

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. SUN Bucks Program
Pennsylvania is aware that some students may require additional assistance with food security during the summer months. As a result, Pennsylvania has adopted the SUN Bucks program. This allows for qualifying families to receive funds to help with the purchase of food over the summer. Click here for more information.
This summer, along with the SUN Bucks program, Pennsylvania also offers a program called SUN Meals. Sites will serve free meals to children in need over the summer. Families can use any of the following methods to locate sites that serve these meals over the summer:
